Andrew
Affleck
Andrew is a co-founder and partner
of Devonshire Capital, an Asian focused merchant banking firm, which
has been operational in the region for 11 years. Andrew has built
up 16 years of experience in Asia within the financial services industry,
covering deal origination, capital raising, M&A and asset management.
Andrew has been directly involved in structuring and managing public
and private equity investments in Asia since 1995, which at their
peak were valued in excess of US$1 billion.
Andrew started his career in the UK as a mechanical engineer.
During a 6 year training period combining academic study and practical
experience, he specialised in combustion engineering focusing on
low emission technologies for legislative compliance and high burn
efficiency equipment incorporating alternative fuels.
Andrew holds an MBA in Finance from University of Leicester,
UK and currently resides in Singapore.
Fong Wai Leong
Fong Wai-Leong is a Chartered Accountant and Partner of Devonshire
Capital Group. He has extensive experience in investment banking
and auditing spanning over 17 years. He has advised on investments,
IPO’s and M&As in China, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore,
South Africa, Korea and South America.
He currently specialises
in identifying investment opportunities in Asia, performing due
diligence exercises, deal negotiation and execution. Post investment,
he establishes systems and teams to enhance the development of
the assets.
Prior to joining Devonshire Capital, he was the General
Manager of a leading Malaysian stockbroking firm where he founded
and headed the firm’s Corporate Finance Division. He previously
worked at CIMB, the leading Merchant Bank in Malaysia. He began
his career at KPMG as an Auditor. Wai Leong is a Malaysian citizen
and currently resides in Kuala Lumpur.
Mike Kim
After graduating from Michigan University in the USA with a BA in
Finance 1998, Mike returned to Korea to start his career in the
finance sector. Starting as credit analyst analyzing domestic debt
facilities he then moved into corporate finance achieving the position
of Head of Equity Capital Markets for Daiwa Securities in Seoul,
where his key assignment was the privatization of Korea Gas Corporation.
Mike joined Devonshire Capital in Korea in 2005 as Managing Director
with primary responsibility for cross border investment. This involves
working with other international offices within the group to identify,
evaluate and structure investment opportunities for their own clients
and third party investors.
Core clients of the team in Korea are
involved in innovative wind energy technology currently being exported
for projects in China and implementation of domestic waste to energy
solutions, both areas are of key interest for Infinity Energy.
Mike is a Korean national currently residing in Korea.
Percilia
Thiah
Percilia is responsible for the Administration
and Human Resource needs of the company. She supports all members
of the management team ensuring the operation runs efficiently.
Percilia manages support activities and is responsible for providing
assistance to the fund investors and other stakeholders.
Percilia
has been working for Devonshire Capital for the past 2 years and
holds a Bachelor of Business in Financial Planning from the Royal
Melbourne Institute of Technology. She has recently obtained a
Graduate Diploma in Human Capital Management from the Singapore
Human Resources Institute. She is a Singapore Citizen and resides
in Singapore.
Chumpol Rojsuwan
Chumpol is licensed by the Investment Banking Club and registered
as Securities Company Associate in Thailand. He has extensive experience
in a wide range of financial instruments together with the regulatory
requirements within Thailand.
He started his career as an internal
auditor at Siam Commercial Bank in 1989. He then joined Kiatnakin
Finance in 1995 both in the Treasury Department and Investment
Department and thereafter joined Kiatnakin Securities in the Investment
Banking Department.
When he worked at Kiatnakin Finance, he was
a key originator in the launch of 10 series Kiatnakin debenture,
totaling THB 10 billion. Since joining Devonshire Capital 4 years
ago, he has been involved in numerous advisory transactions. His
experience in the clean energy sector is as an advisor to energy
saving equipment manufacturers and advisor to SPP, Biomass Power
Project (Palm Waste). More recently he has been involved in analyzing
potential investments in the biofuel and solar sector. Chumpol
is a Thai citizen and currently resides in Thailand.
